Today my bike turned 500km! It's only one month old, I'm pretty impressed with it and myself! I know I'm not setting records, but I've gone from 0km/month to 500km/month!
And saving big on gas!!
I love my bike!

Congratulations on reaching the 500km mark. You'll be up to a 1000 before you know it. Have you thought about taking an extended bike trip for a few days and just exploring the countryside and staying overnight in a Ryokan or something? Sounds like great fun....
yep!! some friends and I are going to pack our bikes on a VW beetle, get on a ferry, and camp/bike around hokkaido for a week! hurray!

Well, I guess it's true that I have some fluency in several languages. I can get buy more or less in most of the major European languages as well as Japanese and know a few phrases in Chinese and Korean as well.
